The First Human Warfare of Birthright Esau and Jacob were the twin sons of Isaac and Rebekah. In Genesis 25 through 33, their lives are outlined and their conflicts are described. Esau was older than his brother by minutes and he was his father’s favorite, the oldest son in a family was the one to receive the father’s blessing. The father’s blessing is his approval, his acceptance, his affection, and his attention. Jacob was the younger of the two and he was his mother’s favorite. Parents are not supposed to favor one child over the other, but many often do for one reason or another. The harm it does can vary, and we can see that Jacob had an issue with Esau about birthright…Many times we get caught up into the world’s way of thinking and behaving. We buy into the world’s method of dealing with problems and issues. This world is heavily influenced by Satan who, as a spirit which operates in the atmosphere, invades and bombards the thoughts of mankind. “In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].” Ephesians 2:2 AMP. However, when we are born-again, we are under new governmental rules and laws. We become inhabitants and subjects of an invisible spiritual kingdom that has its own rules, laws, and guidelines.

The Word

The Intercessor's Life is a handbook and guide for those who are called to the ministry of prayer.  Although prayer isn't usually acknowledged as a ministry, it certainly is.  Jesus gave an example for prayer in what we now call the "Lord's Prayer".  Throughout the New Testament we are instructed to pray, "without ceasing".  In the Old Testament, there are many bible personalities who gave themselves to prayer to seek Divine Guidance and consolation from God.

We must pray to understand the God we serve, we learn His character through prayer, and we learn His will.  Can you imagine not communicating to your parents, companions, and friends; yet still expect to have a relationship with them?  Our prayer life defines our relationship to God.  We must pray!

"Prophetess Debbie S. Leavell has God-given insight on the subject of family and Godly relationships. In a very unique way, this insight is not from a male or female perspective, it is from a God perspective so that we can develop and maintain healthy relationships throughout our lives.

The books she has written are absolutely God inspired and God ordained for such a time as this. Her writing ministry is effectively impacting the emotional healing of many familial relationships. I strongly support and prescribe her works for building healthy relationships in the Kingdom of God here on earth."

This book is a compilation of Godly wisdom for wives in this millennium. Many times women are recommended to go to Proverbs 31 as a reference on how to be a godly wife and mother.  All women are not the same and do not have the same familial desires.  And the information in Proverbs 31 was for and about women in the Old Testament.  The same scriptures were used here to help women in current times with information and insight about how to manage and maintain herself, her home, her children, her husband and even her career.

God is doing a work in these end-times to bring the love and unity back to family as he originally intended.  If The Truth Be Told: A Wife's Wisdom, is only a thread in the fabric that God is using to bring together His remnant for His glory.

"Although the book seems to be intended for women, there are lessons in it for men. It causes one to take inventory or a self-analysis on their motives for getting married. Can a man really be a committed husband in accordance with (marriages') original intent consistent with God's purpose? Only God knows and time will reveal the answer for each man."

"In the life of today's family, there is no issue more misunderstood than the role of the wife. The Lord has chosen this Woman of God to birth, what I feel is a textbook
on the subject. This book will bless the life of anyone who wants to understand the role of a Godly wife."
